The Prime Minister has announced an incentive package of Rs 20,000 crore for SME entrepreneurs affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak across the country. Following this, the Deputy Commissioners in every district of the country have been appointed as conveners, all government / private scheduled banks / chambers / nasibs / sector based organizations / dignitaries / microfinance institutions as members and district heads, industrial support centers, BSIC as member-secretaries. ”Is formed. The committee is working to ensure that the real affected SME entrepreneurs in the respective districts get loans for incentive packages. The committee meeting is being held once a month.

According to the decision of the SME Loan Distribution Monitoring Committee of Narayanganj District, BSCIC / Chambers / Banks have an obligation to disseminate information to the entrepreneurs. Following this, a public notice has been published in "Daily Bangladesh Pratidin" and "Daily Jugantar" on 16 August 2020 to draw the attention of SME entrepreneurs of Narayanganj district.
